Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) has boosted its real estate team with the appointment of five investment managers, Citywire reports. Joining the team are Oliver Lord, previously with F&C REIT Asset Management, and Elaine Hughes from CB Richard Ellis, where she was director of the professional services team in Edinburgh. The decision comes after the group’s real estate assets under management reached £8.5 billion earlier this year, adds FundWeb.
The appointments also included Nicola Campbell, previously with Hunter Property Fund Management, and Tom Elviss, previously with global real estate consultancy DTZ. Veronica Gallo-Alvarez from Invista Real Estate Investment Management will manage the Clerical Medical Non Sterling With Profits fund.
