BlackRock has recruited Al Denholm as managing director and regional head of the firm’s multi-asset client solutions (BMACS), Financial Times reports. He will manage the team’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and supervise client strategy, asset allocation and business management.
In the newly created role, he will serve alongside Michael Huebsch, global head of the BMACS. Denholm, who joined BlackRock from ING Investment Management, has also served at Insight Investment as CIO. He also headed the U.K. and U.S. equities teams at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.
