Blackstone Group’s Steve Schwarzman is set to appear at the Delivering Alpha conference next month, taking the stage as a keynote speaker alongside other high-profile names on Wall Street.

Institutional Investor and CNBC will host the annual conference at the Pierre Hotel in New York on September 19. Billionaire Schwarzman will join influential speakers including U.S. vice president Michael Pence, who will be discussing the country’s economic agenda.

Delivering Alpha will cover a wide range of topics in the investment community, including trade wars, the Federal Reserve, big data, diversity on Wall Street, stock picking, and the search for gains using environmental, social and governance criteria. Legendary stock picker Leon Cooperman of Omega Advisors, short seller James Chanos of Kynikos Associates, and Joshua Harris of Apollo Global Management are among the high-profile investors taking the stage to share their views.

The event has drawn senior leaders beyond the hedge fund and private equity industries, as well, with Securities and Exchange Commission chairman Jay Clayton scheduled to kick off the day in conversation with Andrew Ross Sorkin, CNBC’s Squawk Box co-anchor.

Delivering Alpha speakers will also include Andreessen Horowitz’s Scott Kupor and Light Street Capital’s Glen Kacher, who will cover investment opportunities in technology. In a session moderated by CNBC host Jim Cramer, Nelson Peltz of Trian Fund Management and David Taylor, chief executive officer of Procter & Gamble Co., will discuss their business relationship since Trian took an activist stake in P&G.
