Verbatim Asset Management has upgraded its risk profiling tools to help IFAs in their investment decisions, Financial Times reports. The updated tools, provided by Distribution Technology, aim to help advisers in meeting the Financial Services Authority’s guidelines on managing clients’ investment risk.
The tools have been approved by the Plain English Campaign. The Know Your Client tool will now record investment timescales, liquidity requirements and capacity for loss, while the planning tool will identify any client question, allowing advisers to document conflicting answers in their report.
