SWIP Hires BlackRock Portfolio Manager

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed William Low as head of global equities.

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed William Low as head of global equities, Investment Week reports. In his new role, Low will manage SWIP’s global equity strategy and will work under Andrew November, director of equities at SWIP’s Edinburgh office. Most recently, Low served as director and portfolio manager at BlackRock, covering Europe, Australasia and the Far East. Before BlackRock, Low was investment manager at Dunedin Fund Managers.
