Baillie Gifford has named Malcolm MacColl, Bill Pacula and David Salter as partners, Fund Strategy reports. In his new role, MacColl will be senior portfolio manager and one of the three partners within the global alpha equity team.
Based in New York, Pacula will be in charge of business development in the U.S. and Canada as an international partner. Salter, a client director in the institutional clients department, is the third partner to be named. Edward Hocknell, Nigel Morecroft and Leslie Robb will retire as partners on May 1, 2011.
