Greenlight Capital’s bearishness apparently cost David Einhorn’s hedge fund in November.

The value-driven firm lost 2.2 percent for the month, as other major stock indices posted gains approaching 9 percent. Greenlight sharply lagged the market even though all of its largest long positions were up for the month, the four largest rising by double-digit rates.
