Citadel Investment has appointed Jacob Walthour as managing director and head of U.S. distribution, Pensions & Investments reports. Walthour will join the firm’s asset management arm, Citadel Asset Management in New York and will focus on institutional investors.
Walthour succeeds James Barrett, who left the Citadel in December 2009. Prior to this, Walthour was principal and head of advisory services for the Americas at hedge fund consulting firm, Aksia. He has also worked at Quellos Group, Aetos Capital and Moore Capital Management.
