The rebound in European equity markets is spurring demand for research as investors seek to discover which sectors and industries offer the greatest potential for profit. For a ninth year running, UBS leads the All-Europe Research Team, Institutional Investor’s 25th annual ranking of the region’s most highly regarded equity analysts.

Swiss bank UBS said on Monday 10 December 2007 that Singapore’s state investment arm is to provide it with nearly 10 billion dollars of capital, compensating for a huge writedown for losses in the US subprime mortgage crisis.
