More than three-quarters (77 percent) of senior bankers and compliance officers predict another financial crisis by 2015, according to a survey by Complinet. The compliance solutions provider said respondents cited insufficient reforms as the top reason for the next crisis.
In other findings, Complinet said 40 percent those polled felt their firms had changes employee compensation systems as a result of better understanding of business-related risks, and 91 percent believed that people outside the financial industry resent its current bonus structure.
