Former Bank of America Head Ken Lewis received a bonus package of $73 million including benefits, cash and stock options. Brian Moynihan succeeded Lewis, who waived his 2009 bonus, in January. His package included $4.5 million in shares in that be vested by next year and another $11 million in deferred pay and restricted shares. His pension benefits are now worth $56.2 million.
According to an annual proxy statement, the bank’s chairman, Walter Massey, will not seek re-election. The board is expected to choose the next chair later this year.
