Dimensional Fund Advisors, an institutional asset manager, has named Eduardo Repetto as co-CEO, IM Weekly reports. Repetto will retain his responsibilities as CIO. David Booth, Chairman and a Dimensional founder, will share his CEO role with Repetto, effective Jan. 1, 2010.
Repetto had joined the firm nine years earlier. He began his career in the research department and has assumed increasing responsibility over the years, serving as head of research and then succeeding Booth as CIO in February 2007.
