MSCI Barra has appointed Anand Iyer as managing director, head of multi-asset class research, MSCI Barra reports. Based in New York, Iyer will also focus on developing applied research for the fixed income market. Previously, he was CIO and head of alternative beta and portable alpha trading with Investcorp International. Prior to that, he was managing director at Morgan Stanley’s proprietary trading desk, and global head of convertible research.
