Mexico’s Banco Compartamos has appointed CFO Fernando Toca as CEO, The Wall Street Journal reports. Treasurer Patricio Diez will act as interim CFO for the microfinance lender, until a permanent replacement is appointed.
The bank’s board has also named Carlos Labarthe as executive president and Carlos Danel as executive vice president. The two will be in charge of strategic planning and business development.
