Kames Capital, previously known as Aegon Asset Management, is rolling out an absolute return fund, Investment Week reports. The Kames Absolute Return Bond fund will be managed by Stephen Snowden and Colin Finlayson.
The new fund, which will invest across the fixed-income range, will be available to investors later this month. Snowden, who rejoined Kames Capital earlier in 2011, previously left Aegon AM for Old Mutual Asset Management in 2004. Finlayson, who will run the currency portion of the fund, has worked in Kames Capital’s fixed-income team since 2000.
