HDFC Mutual Fund has rolled out a gold fund, Moneycontrol.com reports. The HDFC Gold Fund is an open ended fund-of-funds system that will allow investors to invest systematically in gold, hedge their risks against market volatility and to effectively diversify their portfolio. The subscription of the new fund opened on Monday and will close on October 21. The amount collected through the new fund offer will be invested in HDFC Gold ETF for capital appreciation.
