A private equity firm Tengram Capital Partners has hired Richard Gersten as a partner. He was most recently partner at private equity firm Catterton Partners. Gersten was in charge of sourcing, evaluating and executing transactions in the consumer industry and headed investments in the health and beauty sectors.
Gersten has also been a partner at North Castle Partners, a private equity firm focused on consumer investments, and principal at BT Capital Partners, the private equity division of Bankers Trust. He has also sat on the boards of Strivectin, Aquasana, Van’s Natural Foods, Monosol and Dr. Miracle’s.
