Towers Watson president and COO, Mark Mactas, will retire by the end of 2011.
Mactas provided leadership in a variety of geography and line-of-business roles during his tenure with the consulting firm. Until his exit, he will focus on the company’s integration efforts, and provide guidance in leadership development and succession planning. Prior to becoming president and COO, he served as CEO at Towers Perrin after the merger of Towers Perrin and Watson Wyatt Worldwide in 2010.
