JSE Appoints New Chief

JSE has named Nicky Newton-King as new CEO of the South African stock exchange.

JSE has named Nicky Newton-King as new CEO of the South African stock exchange, Bloomberg reports. Newton-King, who is currently the deputy CEO of the firm, will be active on her new role from January 2012. Newton-King will be succeeding Russell Loubser, who will retire as CEO of the JSE at the end of this year. Newton-King joined JSE in 2000 as a member of its board.
