Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund has rolled out a closed-end capital protection-oriented fund, Moneycontrol.com reports. The Birla Sun Life Capital Protection Oriented Fund – Series 7 will invest in debt securities with tenure comparable with the tenure of the plan, subject to the credit risk.
The fund, which offers a growth option, will allocate 80 percent to 100 percent of assets in debt securities and money market instruments. It will be benchmarked against the CRISIL Balanced Fund Index and will be managed by Satyabrata Mohanty and Ajay Garg.
