BTIG has appointed Allen Hassan as managing director on the preferred products desk. Most recently, Hassan was working with Jefferies, where he started the preferred desk in 2003. Prior to Jefferies, he was with Prudential Securities as a key member of its preferred business and distribution capabilities. Hassan has also served at Lehman Brothers in fixed income and equity sales.
