NSF Grants $10M To Stanford University

The National Science Foundation has granted a five-year funding of $10 million to the Stanford University for setting up a national center for teaching innovation and entrepreneurship in engineering.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has granted a five-year funding of $10 million to the Stanford University for setting up a national center for teaching innovation and entrepreneurship in engineering. The center at Stanford’s School of Engineering will be directed by the Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP). This initiative is partnered by the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance. The new center will be launched in September 2011 and cater to nearly 350 engineering schools across the U.S.
