ETF Securities is planning a potential $1 billion share listing, The Wall Street Journal reports. The U.K. ETF provider has retained Citigroup and Bank of America Merrill Lynch to discuss its strategic options, including an initial public offering (IPO).
The possible offering is expected to provide ETF Securities funding for acquisitions. The London-based firm, which has $28 billion of products under management, specializes in the commodities sector.
