GAM has rolled out the GAM Star Global Quality fund, a long-only product investing in developed market equities, FundWeb reports. The sub-fund of the GAM Star Global fund and the GAM Star Global Quality fund aims to provide capital growth via investing in equity and equity related securities globally.
The fund, listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, will be managed by Manning & Napier Advisors and has its base currency in U.S. dollars, adds Citywire. The vehicle, which tracks the performance of the MSCI World index, will focus on investments in countries, such as the U.S., the countries of Western Europe and certain countries in the Pacific Basin. The fund had $188 million in assets, as of July 12.
