HSBC Middle East Resource Head Exits

Darren Davis has stepped down from HSBC Holdings, global banking and financial services company.

Darren Davis has stepped down from HSBC Holdings, global banking and financial services company, Bloomberg reports. Davis was head of resource and energy group for the Middle East and North Africa at the U.K. bank.

A small number of bankers from HSBC’s global banking business in the region have also left the bank. The Europe’s biggest bank will terminate 30,000 jobs globally by the end of 2013 under a revamp by CEO Stuart Gulliver to cut annual costs by $3.5 billion, adds Emirates 24/7.
