Ohio Public Employees Retirement System has appointed six new domestic small-cap equity managers, Pensions & Investments reports. The new managers will be managing a total of $1.14 billion for the system.
Value managers Atlanta Capital Management, New South Capital Management and Shapiro Capital Management were appointed to manage $190 million each. The system has hired growth managers PENN Capital Management and Wasatch Advisors to handle $235 million each and Sparta Asset Management to run $100 million.
