Big Lots is seeking options, including a possible sale of the company, after receiving offers from buyout firms, Bloomberg reports. The U.S. discount retailer has been approached by Thomas H Lee Partners and Bain Capital.

The Ohio-based company has appointed Goldman Sachs to review its strategic options. Big Lots, which is led by CEO Steve Fishman, operates around 1,400 stores across the U.S.
