Banco do Brasil is planning an overseas bonds issue worth about $500 million, The Wall Street Journal reports. The bonds will mature in 10 years and the amount to be raised could increase, if there is demand by investors. The operation is coordinated by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BB Securities, Banco Votorantim, BNP Paribas and JP Morgan. Banco Safra is acting as a co-manager of the bond issue.
