Belgium Raises €3B In Bond Sale

Belgium has raised €3 billion from a syndicated bond sale.

Belgium has raised €3 billion from a syndicated bond sale, Reuters reports. The 10-year bonds have been sold at a 4.25% coupon rate and will mature on Sept. 28, 2021. The bonds are being placed through BNP Paribas Fortis, Royal Book of Scotland, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking and UBS. Belgium has cancelled a proposed government bond auction scheduled for Jan. 31, 2011.
