Deutsche Bank has selected Harold Leenen as the CEO of its operations in the Netherlands, The Wall Street Journal reports. He will take over his new responsibilities from Gerard Zwartkruis, who is leaving the Germany-headquartered global financial services firm.
Previously, Leenen was COO at Deutsche Bank’s global transaction banking unit. In addition, Leenen handled the merger of the ABN Amro Bank assets that the bank acquired in 2010 in a €700 million deal.
