Wells Fargo Securities has expanded its equity (EQ) sales and trading capabilities with the appointment of four senior program trading professionals. The firm has set up a new program trading desk to be headed by new appointee Haresh Rana, previously with JP Morgan.
Michael Lee has been appointed as a director and trader of the desk, while Chris Johnson has been appointed as a director and head of program trading sale. Kevin Kennedy will be joining as a director in the program trading sales group at the end of August from Deutsche Bank. Based in New York, all the new hires will work under Matt Brown, head of cash trading.
