Hargreaves Lansdown has frozen new investments to Castlestone Management funds, Financial Times reports. The move comes as a precautionary measure as three of Castlestone’s Dublin-based vehicles were suspended to new investments by the Central Bank of Ireland in June. Cofunds, Novia, Friends Provident International and Skandia have also suspended investments in Castlestone funds. Hargreaves will continue to monitor the situation, said the firm’s compliance manager Humphrey Turner.
