JPMorgan Asset Management is set to launch a global mining fund on Feb. 1, 2011, Financial Times reports. The JPM Global Mining fund will focus on the mining sector and be managed by Neil Gregson.
Gregson will hold between 50 to 100 stocks across all market capitalizations and identify undervalued mining assets which will benefit the portfolio. He joined from Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he managed a mining fund in 2010.
