George Soros will cease to manage money for outside investors, The Wall Street Journal reports. The hedge fund manager is returning external investments in his $25.5 billion firm Soros Fund Management, Bloomberg adds.
The veteran, whose tenure in the hedge fund industry lasted over four decades, will divest capital worth $1 billion by the year end. Soros Fund Management will only handle assets for Soros and his family.
