San Francisco-based Astrid has received initial financing from a group of investors, Private Equity Hub reports. Google Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners and angel investors, including Jack Herrick of wikiHow, provided the funding. Financial terms of the investment round have not been disclosed. Astrid, a productivity application on the Android platform, built its engineering team and expanded to new platforms after getting the financing.
