SolarEdge Gets $37M VC Funding

SolarEdge Technologies, a provider of end-to-end solar power optimization and PV monitoring solutions, has secured $37 million in venture capital funding.

SolarEdge Technologies, a provider of end-to-end solar power optimization and PV monitoring solutions, has secured $37 million in venture capital funding. The investment round was led by Norwest Venture Partners (NVP). Existing investors, including Opus Capital, Walden International and General Electric Co., also participated in the fundraising round.

The company intends to use the proceeds to boost its global expansion and production plans as well as strengthen its balance sheet and to further enhance its leadership within the solar power optimization industry. Dror Nahumi, partner at NVP, will be joining the board of directors of SolarEdge.
