General Atlantic is evaluating four acquisitions in India, Bloomberg reports. The U.S. private equity group is planning the deals in Internet, logistics, financial and infrastructure industries within a range of $100million to $200 million.
The firm, which manages $17 billion and has typically spent approximately $50 million to $75 million per deal, will also seek out privately held companies. Since 2002, General Atlantic has invested about $900 million in India with stakes worth a combined $1.7 billion in eight companies.
