The New York State Common Retirement Fund has ended the contracts of two managers, Pensions & Investments reports. The domestic large-cap equity managers, AllianceBernstein and Capital Guardian Trust, handled a combined $2.5 billion in assets. AllianceBernstein managed $1.3 billion, while Capital Guardian ran $1.2 billion. The $140.6 billion system is seeking to reduce its exposure to in domestic equities.
