The European Property Investors Special Opportunities Fund (EPISO) has joined Addington Capital to acquire the Sapphire retail portfolio in the U.K. for £145 million, Property Week reports. The portfolio consists of the Charter Walk shopping centre in Burnley, the Queens Arcade in Cardiff and the Harvey Centre in Harlow. The centers were put into administration in August last year by a syndicate of lenders led by Lloyds Banking Group. EPISO was advised by AEW Europe and Tristan Capital Partners. Addington Capital has been retained as asset manager of the portfolio.
