Blue Harbour Group has appointed Jose Claxton and Joseph Haslip as managing directors. Claxton will serve the private investment firm as managing director of capital strategies and client relations, while Haslip will be the managing director of public plan relations unit. The duo will be responsible for managing the firm’s growing institutional investor interest in active ownership investment strategies. Claxton has worked as managing director for sales at Lehman Brothers Alternative Investment Management. Haslip was previously assistant comptroller for pensions in the office of the New York City Comptroller.
