GDF Suez is seeking to sell its Italian gas distribution assets for about €750 million, Reuters reports. The company is in talks with financial investors, including CVC Capital Partners, RREEF Infrastructure and consortium of AXA Infrastructure and Italian investment fund, F2i.
The French utility is aiming to divest €4 billion of assets in the next two years. The Italian gas distribution network, G6 Rete Gas, has an estimated €750 million regulated asset base.
