German industrial conglomerate, Siemens, is planning to list its lighting division, Osram, The Wall Street Journal reports. Osram, which is valued at nearly €5.8 billion, will be part of a new operating unit, Infrastructure & Cities, until the initial public offering. Siemens aims to keep a minority stake in Osram. Infrastructure & Cities will consist of selected businesses from Siemens’ Industry and Energy sectors and headed by Roland Busch, currently the company’s head of strategy.
