Georgia-based financial services firm Synovus Financial has appointed Allen Gula as COO. He will handle all operations and IT for the firm. At present, he serves as Chairman and CEO of the Hope Foundation. Previously, Gula has worked with Greater Bay Bancorp in San Francisco, Franklin Resources, KeyCorp and Key Services.
