Peter Jenson has resigned as COO and director of hedge fund firm Harbinger Capital Partners, The Wall Street Journal reports. He joined Harbinger in 2009 from Citadel Investment Group, where he was responsible for all operational activities of the funds.
New York-based Harbinger recently received investor requests of withdrawal of around $1 billion invested in its funds. Separately, Harbinger Group majority-owned by Harbinger Capital, has appointed Omar Asali as its president replacing Philip Falcone.
