Prudential Investments has launched a new real asset mutual fund. The Prudential Real Assets Fund offers investors greater diversification and improved risk-adjusted returns and offers potential protection against inflation and rising interest rates. The portfolio seeks long-term real returns by tactically allocating between commodities, utilities, infrastructure, and natural resources, domestic and international REITs, treasury Inflation protected securities and gold-related securities. The asset classes will be managed by Prudential’s institutional asset managers, including Prudential Bache Asset Management and Jennison Associates.
