Citi Appoints Chief Lobbyist

Citigroup has appointed Candida Wolff as executive vice president for global government affairs.

Citigroup has appointed Candida Wolff as executive vice president for global government affairs. Wolff, who was former President George Bush’s chief lobbyist from 2005 through 2007, will focus on international, federal, state and local government relations for Citigroup. Wolff will resign from her position at Hogan Lovells, a law firm based in Washington D.C., where she serves as a partner, and will join Citigroup on May 2, 2011. In her new role, Wolff will work under Ed Skyler, the bank’s head of public affairs.
