Petróleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) has completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in the Ntsina Marin and Mbeli Marin Blocks, in the Coastal Basin of Gabon. The energy company obtained the stake from Ophir Energy.
The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed. The deal, which was completed on June 17, 2011, is pending final approval from the Government of Gabon.
