Barings Asset Management’s emerging market fund managers, James Syme and Paul Wimborne are stepping down from their role, Fund Strategy reports. The duo will join JO Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM). The investment management firm has appointed its Latin American equity head Roberto Lampl to take control of its emerging markets franchise, adds Citywire. The hiring at JOHCM comes ahead of the launch of a new emerging markets fund planned for later this year.
