Warwickshire County Council Pension Fund has appointed HarbourVest Partners to run a private equity fund-of-funds strategy, Pensions & Investments reports. HarbourVest will be overseeing a £60 million private equity fund-of-funds mandate.
The mandate is the £1.2 billion fund’s first investment in private equity and its funding will come from reducing the fund’s passive allocation. Hymans Robertson advised Warwickshire County on the search, which was started in March 2010.
