Richard Berner, the U.S. chief economist for Morgan Stanley, is leaving the firm, The Wall Street Journal reports. He is leaving the bank after 14 years to pursue other opportunities.
The responsibilities of Berner will be taken over by David Greenlaw on an interim basis. Greenlaw will also be serving as head of the U.S. economics team in New York. Joachim Fels will continue in London as head of the global economics team.
